About

Backend Engineer with 1+ year of experience building Java and Spring Boot microservices on AWS. Strong algorithmic problem solving foundation from competitive programming, applied to REST API design, production reliability, and secure delivery; cut average story turnaround time by approximately 50% using AI-assisted development.

Experience

Software Engineer - Backend at DISH Network Technologies (2025-07 – Present)

  • Designed 4 and maintained 7 RESTful APIs across the Billing, Loan Management, Eligibility Check, and Device Leasing microservices for Boost Mobile's postpaid subscription platform.
  • Engineered 3 Spring Boot microservices in Java using the Director–Actor–Composite design pattern, orchestrating multi-step business workflows across 30+ actor components and backing every component with JUnit 5 and Mockito unit tests for full code coverage.
  • Resolved 20+ production defects and incidents across multiple microservices within SLA, tracing request fallouts through AWS CloudWatch Logs Insights and delivering fixes spanning application code, service configuration, and AWS resource settings.
  • Built an in-house Loan Management Service covering the full loan lifecycle (origination, disbursement, repayment tracking), replacing a third-party vendor and eliminating its recurring licensing cost.
  • Delivered a greenfield Leasing-Batch service end to end through AI-assisted development with Claude Code — scheduled job orchestration, core business logic, AWS integrations, and REST endpoints — and fixed 10+ UI and backend defects in the companion device-leasing platform.
  • Remediated 70+ high- and critical-severity vulnerabilities surfaced by Snyk SAST/SCA scans across 3 services, upgrading Spring Boot and third-party dependency versions to clear them.

Education

Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science Engineering – Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology (2021-11 – 2025-06)
