Amit Kumar

A highly motivated and research-oriented Electronics Science undergraduate at University of Delhi with hands-on experience in neuromorphic computing, Hardware design and embedded systems. Through research work at CSIR - National Physical Laboratory, I have gained practical exposure to electrical characterization of memristive e-textile devices, automated measurement systems and experimental data analysis for emerging computing applications.

Research Intern at CSIR - National Physical Laboratory (2025-09 – 2026-05)

Collaborated with two senior researchers to investigate PET-metal composite yarns showing memristive behaviour for application in neuromorphic computing systems.

• Designed a PyVisa-based automated measurement setup utilizing precision instruments to collect Device Under Test (DUT) data.
• Conducted electrical characterization and statistically analyzed large datasets (1,000+ points/run) to evaluate resistive switching, hysteresis, and stability across four major parameters.
