City Gas Distribution Project Thane, Mumbai. Site Planning, Scheduling, Monitoring, coordination, execution, quality, Documentation, progress as per city gas distribution project including carbon Steel Pipeline for domestic, commercial connections with quality and safety.
- Interacting and liaisoning with government bodies (NHAI, PWD, Forest department) and other department.
- Ensure that the area to be executed is economically feasible and the survey documents like domestic, commercial potential sheet, proposed pipe line route with DRS location.
- Coordination with internal and external department / agency/ authority (like: Mkt. & Planning deportment, PMC engineer, Municipal corporation, etc.) to make the sufficient work front to the contractor.
- Daily, weekly and monthly site planning and implementation.
- Coordinate with Stores for smooth material issuance process to contractors and material reconciliations as well. Ensure that material is handled by contractor at site safely.
- Ensure Site specific Risk Assessment by contractor before starting of the job, verification of the same and ensure mitigation measures at site accordingly.
- Plan for daily, day after tomorrow execution plan and achieve the same with time limit.
- Laying, Testing, Flushing & Commissioning of MDPE/STEEL(UP To 8") pipe for high, medium & low pressure, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of GAS to MDPE/STEEL, GI, Copper pipe & Gas Meter into the kitchen of end user.
- Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Industrial/Commercial/Domestic connection to the end user. Monitor the daily execution and offer to TPI/Client representative to inspect the site work.
- Maintain site activities like Mainline Welding, Tie-In Welding, Joint coating, Trenching, Lowering, Backfill, Cased Crossing, Carrier Pipe Insertion, Horizontal Direction Drilling (HDD), and Temporary Cathodic Protection activities, Pre/Post Hydro-testing, Swabbing, Drying and Nitrogen Purging.
- Offer TPI/Client for inspection of weld visual, Peel Test, RT, UT, MPT & LPT, Offer TPI/Client for inspection of newly procured materials like Coating Sleeves, Electrode and other consumable materials etc.
- Preparing inspection reports for Mainline Welding, Tie-In Welding, Joint coating, Trenching, Lowering, Backfill, Cased Crossing, Carrier Pipe Insertion, Horizontal Direction Drilling (HDD), and Temporary Cathodic Protection activities, Pre/Post Hydro-testing, Swabbing, Drying and Nitrogen Purging.
- Offer TPI/Client Inspection Report of different activities for review and approval, Offer TPI/Client for inspect and signing of daily activity report. Co-ordination with other departments, TPI & client during inspection.
- Preparation of bar charts for Micro/Macro scheduling. DPR, WPR generation. Offer to TPI/Client for review and certification of measurement sheet of submitted RA Bill.
- Establish, implement and maintain all the site quality control, technical and any computer integrated control systems.
- Witness of Sand Blasting, Inspection of underground line pipe coating. Holiday testing of wrapping and coating of pipelines & coating thickness measurement by Electrometer.
- Day to day planning and co-ordination of QA/QC activities.

- Monitor/inspecting Steel gas pipeline 16", 12" & 10" activities including, stocking, grading, stringing, joint fit-up, main line welding, blasting, coating, peel test, trail pit & trenching, holiday test, lowering, free tie in, tie in joint, backfill, flushing, pigging, hydro test, swabbing, nitrogen purging and other engineering activity.
- Awareness of EQT, WPS, PQR and Welder Qualification Test.
- Pre-heating and stress relieving of the weld joint as per requirement.
- Day to day activity of site works, site clearance reporting to site incharge.
- Mainline inspections of SMAW and NDT Inspection (visual, UT, RT, LPT, MPT) etc.
- Responsibility of hydro testing, pre commissioning and commissioning.
- Road crossing, state/national highway, canal and river crossing by HDD machines.
- Installation of sectionalizing steel wcb ball valve, gate valve, globe valve.
- Installing, laying, fusion welding & Testing MDPE/GI/ERW riser/Cu pipe line.

- Successfully executed and commissioned 21 KM of Steel pipeline, 10 plus Km of MDPE(Main/Service) pipeline & 300 plus domestic connection done for gas use.
- Ensure all the documents/reports like DPR, WPR, MPR, with compliance to Integrated Management Systems.
- RA bill checking and pass to Client.

- Awareness of WPS, PQR and Welder Qualification Test.
- Inspect welding joint Pre-heating and stress relieving of the weld joint as per requirement.
- Day to day activity of site works, site clearance reporting to site incharge.
- Mainline inspections of SMAW and NDT Inspection (visual, UT, RT, LPT, MPT) etc.
