I am a Senior Automotive Quality Leader with 26+ years’ global experience in end-to-end quality assurance — supplier quality, receiving inspection, in-process control, final validation, audits, SPC/MSA, calibration, layouts, and digital traceability. I lead QMS transformation (IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, ISO 9001, EMS, OHSAS) and apply Lean, TPM and Industry 4.0 to shift organizations from reactive firefighting to proactive operational excellence.

I have partnered with OEMs and Tier-1s including BMW, Harley-Davidson, Renault-Nissan, Stellantis, Mercedes, Ford and GM, and driven supplier quality across 200+ suppliers to raise capability, compliance and cost competitiveness.

Career Highlights

Architecting Greenfield Excellence

My recent career has been defined by my success in building entire Quality Assurance departments from the ground up in high-stakes greenfield environments. At both AITG Group and Mascor Precisions, I architected the complete QA systems from inception. I led my teams to achieve critical certifications like IATF 16949 and pass rigorous global audits such as VDA 6.3, which directly resulted in securing new business with clients like Harley-Davidson, Stellantis, and Avtovaz.

Leading Corporate Turnarounds

My decade-long tenure at Varroc Engineering showcases my ability to drive dramatic operational turnarounds within a large, established corporate structure. It was here that I spearheaded the initiative that reduced in-house PPM from a critical 55,000 to Zero and slashed customer PPM by over 98% (from 4,975 to 67). This, combined with supplier development programs, contributed to ₹40 Lakhs in monthly cost savings and established me as a leader who delivers profound operational and financial improvements.

Building Foundational Expertise

My foundational experience at companies like Endurance Technologies, KSB Pumps, and Everest Kanto Cylinders built the bedrock of my expertise in supplier quality assurance (SQA), process audits, and hands-on quality management. These roles honed my technical skills and prepared me for the senior leadership challenges I would later master.

Most notably, I am a certified Lean Manufacturing Consultant by the Government of India's Ministry of MSME and a CQI & IRCA-approved Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2015. My expertise is further supported by my credentials as a TPM Facilitator, an IATF 16949 Internal Auditor, and in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Level II.

My educational foundation is a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Production Technology) from MIT Engineering College. Throughout my career, I have prioritized continuous learning by securing advanced professional certifications that are highly relevant to my role as a senior quality leader in the automotive industry
