Anargha Pal

Anargha Pal — a film programmer, creative producer and film editor whose work has reached Festival de Cannes – Marché du Film. As curator, he has curated premieres and hosted cinematic icons like Payal Kapadia, Naseeruddin Shah, Dibakar Banerjee, Anuparna Roy, Goutam Ghose, Sreekar Prasad and more. Also collaborated and produced films with Dalip Tahil and Dan Mirvish (Founder of Slamdance and AMPAS Oscar Jury Member) and has been awarded worldwide — from NFDC, IFFI Waves Bazaar by Festival Director Shekhar Kapur, CM, Delhi, CIFF 2025, India AI Impact Summit to festivals in New Jersey, Russia and Kolkata.

He has also worked with brands like WAVES Summit, NFDC, Coal India, Dharma Productions etc.

Post-Production, VFX & Film Editing - Advertisement, Films and Media

• Executed full-length theatrical editing, VFX and Gen AI workflows for major Bollywood, South Indian and Kolkata projects, including Baby John, Dhadak 2, Dominic and the Ladies Purse, Dalip Tahil's Dispersion etc.
• Spearheaded DCP (Digital Cinema Package) and KDM Mastering for secure theatrical distribution. Created and synchronized professional subtitles for major industry films and web series under Hoichoi and SVF (Shree Venkatesh Films).
• Edited TVCs, advertisements, and delivered VFX for prominent brands and corporate clients, including Coal India, Reliance Entertainment, Excel Entertainment, Kloq Ride etc.
• Developed Gen AI tools and creatives for pre-visualizations and short-form content creation. Collaborated closely with Govt. of India content projects located at IIT Madras Research Park.

Film Curation, Producing & Industry Networking - Film Festivals and Distribution

• Curated high-profile lineups securing regional premieres for highly anticipated titles, including Dibakar Banerjee's Tees, Kanu Behl's Agra, Ishaan Ghose's Morichika, Tilottama Shome's Shadowbox. Programmed globally acclaimed cinema such as the Jugnuma The Fable and Venice-winning Songs of the Forgotten Trees.
• Successfully partnered with international sales agents (Janus Films, Film Boutique etc.) and established strategic collaborations with esteemed institutes like Film Heritage Foundation, SRFTI, FTII and NFDC.
• Hosted, curated and moderated interactive sessions with leading figures in Indian cinema, including Naseeruddin Shah, Payal Kapadia, Anurag Kashyap, Sreekar Prasad, Anuparna Roy, Goutam Ghose etc.
• Cultivated an extensive network of industry contacts as a regular participant and awardee at IFFI Film Bazaar, coordinating massive multi-venue festival setups and interdisciplinary teams.

• Directed and produced a diverse slate of narrative short films, documentaries, music videos and commercial advertisements. Steered projects from initial concept and script development through to final execution, ensuring a cohesive creative vision.
• Spearheaded the comprehensive logistical and on-ground execution of full shoots for feature films, independent shorts and TVCs across dynamic real-world locations.
• Streamlined production pipelines by assembling and providing highly skilled, project-specific crews, supplying top-tier Assistant Directors (ADs), casting of celebrity actors, specialized pre-production personnel and on-set editors to ensure seamless productions.
• Pioneered the use of cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) and Virtual Reality (VR) tools to meticulously pre-visualize complex sequences. Translated early-stage concepts into highly accurate visual blueprints, optimizing both on-set efficiency and narrative storytelling.
