Built and optimized an end-to-end dental image analysis system comprising teeth vs. non-teeth classification and MobileNetV2-based defect detection, achieving 93% accuracy through advanced preprocessing, data augmentation, class balancing, and hyperparameter tuning. Developed an automated image quality validation pipeline to detect and eliminate blurry, low-quality, and duplicate dental images, significantly improving dataset quality and reducing noise for downstream AI models.
