Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) candidate, specialising in Mathematics and Life Sciences (Grades 10–12), qualifying in November 2026. My teaching practicum challenged me to manage classes of 30 learners across a wide range of ability levels, and to teach in a school environment very different from my own upbringing. This experience sharpened my adaptability, cultural awareness, and ability to connect with learners from all walks of life.

I believe teaching is about more than content: it's about building confidence, meeting learners where they are, and helping every one of them succeed.

Student Teacher (Teaching Practice) at Kylemore Secondary School (2026 – 2026)

• Planned and delivered Mathematics and Life Sciences lessons to Grade 10 and 11 learners (Grade 12 learners were preparing for their end-of-year exams during this period, so teaching practice was focused on Grades 10–11).
• Designed lesson plans, learning activities, homework, and assessments.
• Marked assessments and provided constructive learner feedback.
• Managed a positive and productive classroom environment.
• Coached the school's chess team.

Mathematics Tutor (Volunteer) at Aitsa! After School Care (2025 – 2026)

• Tutored Grade 10 and Grade 12 learners in Mathematics.
• Explained concepts using learner-centred teaching strategies.
• Assisted with homework, exam preparation, and problem-solving.
• Built learners' confidence and independent learning skills.
