- Conducting mass TBT meeting
- Checking The PTW system and allied all relevant document as per permit audit compliances
- Strict follow up of mandatory PPE's & SABIC LSR rules regulation at workplace areas
- Ensure work permit system with proper gas test of confined space with frequency of every 2hrs with available all emergency rescue equipment of confined space & co ordinate with ERT team at work location
- Adhere strictly to all the rules and regulations as per SABIC SHEMS
- Supervision & inspection of underground CW/SW of 258 mtr of length width of 30/68 inches manway access in which FRP pipe – Scaffolding erection, grinding & lamination activity inside confined space
- Ensure & strict supervision of safety of chemical handling inside underground confined space like (Styrene, Catalyst) while doing FRP pipe wall lamination work with proper cartridge mask, chemical gloves & suit etc
- Close monitoring of high risk of residual slope area inside underground confined space where length & line of manways inches changes at near 133 mtrs of CW pipe with proper illumination, ventilation, barricading, & radium signages
- Checking & ensuring strict supervision of safety of the maximum no of person entry & exit inside log book register of CS as per approved Rescue plan/Mitigation plan as SABIC SHEMS rules
- Identify & eliminate workplace hazards, unsafe act and unsafe conditions, with rectify the same on immediate basis which his possible asap & prepare daily site safety observation report & submit to safety lead/supervisor
- Checking and inspecting the scaffolding as per standards
- Monitoring, controlling and ensuring the safe lifting operation with procedures, with all relevant crane documents, & checking of lifting tools & tackles inspection certificate (TPI) with safe lifting plan
- Maintain all relevant HSE Documents and Records
- Liaise with site execution & supervisor staff to maintain good housekeeping after work completion over every day inside confined space
- Conducted daily safety talk before start the work activity
- Getting EHSS manual understand all shutdown applicable rules & regulation, ensure that all are complying during the event
- Followed client life saving rules & educate the all workers about it & ensure workers has wearing all mandatory PPE's
- Permit to work system should compliance before start the job
- Ensuring system is properly prepared with LOTO system i.e drained, de pressurized, de energized, vented & steamed out & wear required PPE as per work permit & MSDS etc
- Ensure gas test for confined space
- Inspecting scaffolding platform prior to work
- Suspend or stop job for non-compliance with PTW & watch out for the safety of all workers & work to protect them from entering hazardous situations
- Inspection of fire protection system at site
- Periodic inspection of vehicles & equipment, lifting tools & tackles, hand tools, power tools, electrical installation, fire hydrant system & maintain its documentation
- Participate in emergency drills & assist the client in head count at muster points
- Conduct awareness Training of Release of H2S gas, Work at Height, Confined spaces, Safe lifting operations to all concern workers, supervisors, rigger
- Participate in accident incident investigation & root cause analysis
- Recording near miss, safety & security violations, incidents etc & preparing daily site observations reports for managements & clients
- Accountable for inspection of all PTW system & checklists for confined spaces activities, lifting activity, work at height, scaffolding erection, machinery equipment as per SABIC SHEMS norms
- Inspect job related all work permits, JSA, Lifting plans & safe operating procedures in plants
- Attend site inspection of Column confined spaces activity, Heat exchanger bundle pull activity with safe safety measures & ensure the same as per JSA work method
- Ensure gas test for confined space at every 2 hrs with maintain log sheet of entrant's entry & exit as per rescue plan man entry numbers
- Awareness about Emergency Rescue plan, Radio & wireless communication, job locations, Escape routes & MCP (Manual call point) to all workers & supervisors who working on height columns activity of 52 Mtrs
- Supervision & ensuring safe lifting at height 52 mtrs of all scaffold materials in tool bag with help of rope & pulley
- Participate in weekly walk through with client representatives, & take necessary actions for the close out of the observation made
- Intervene & take corrective action in any kind of unsafe act & unsafe condition
- Providing & assisting for On Job Training for flagman, crane operators, rigger, stand by man, fire watcher, hole watcher
- Delivering company induction to all employees, ensure full compliance of client's safety procedure & requirements as per shutdown requirement
- Checking and inspecting the scaffolding as per standards with valid inspection tag
- Prepare site HSE observation reports on daily basis
- Ensuring & check physical inspection of all portable power tools/hand tools, machinery equipment with valid quarterly inspection colour coding system
