I, Aniruddha Das, adopted Rural Development as a profession and have been working for the last 11 years in the Central India Tribal Belt (Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand & Odisha) and West Bengal, on livelihood security to bring positive changes in the life of underprivileged rural masses.

Presently I am working with Dilip Buildcon Ltd. as Deputy Manager-CSR at Pachhwara Central Coal Block, Amrapara, Pakur, Jharkhand. As a professional in rural development & management, I worked 4 years with grass root level NGOs and further 6 years with the Rural Development Department- The government of Jharkhand in several projects/programs (DAY NRLM, NRETP, MKSP, JOHAR, JIAGY & OMM) on Sustainable Integrated Farming System, Livestock Management (Vaccination, Habitat and Feed Management), NTFP, Farmers Producer Company Promotion and Non-Farm Activities.

I have sound knowledge of all aspects of project planning, budgeting, execution, monitoring, and evaluation to achieve measurable impact as well as skills in participatory need assessment, team management, analytical report writing, preparation of RFP, EoI, tender documents, and liaison with government line department for convergence.

Currently working in mining-affected and surrounding villages under Jitpur Coal Block, Sundarpahari, Godda, supporting the upliftment of underprivileged communities in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

• Responsible for developing the annual CSR plan (both physical and financial) with a focus on health, education, and livelihoods; preparing detailed project proposals; monitoring ongoing initiatives; and producing periodic analytical progress reports and presentations.
• Lead community mobilization and stakeholder coordination with PRIs, SHGs, District Administration, NGOs, and partners to ensure effective project execution and convergence.

• Built institutional capacity and reporting systems by delivering training workshops for ATMA, NGOs, and CRPs, and producing high-quality presentations, case studies, proposals, and official documentation.

Implemented large-scale livelihood interventions for 77,000 women farmers through 1,000 community cadres, covering agriculture, livestock, fisheries, NTFP, and market-linked collectivization via PGs, under central government schemes (DAY-NRLM, NRETP, VDVK, JOHAR, MKSP), with Rs.4–5 crore annual fund utilization at the district level.

• Planned and implemented district-level agriculture and livelihood interventions for women farmers by preparing annual and quarterly physical and financial plans and ensuring timely execution across blocks.
• Facilitated convergence with agriculture line departments (Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Soil & Water Conservation & MGNREGA etc.) to enable farmers' access to government schemes, inputs, and extension services.

• Developed Village Development Plans (VDPs) for 38 villages in Deoghar, coordinating with multiple line departments to implement convergence-based interventions under SAGY, PMAGY, AGY, and MPLAD, driving model village development and socio-economic self-sufficiency.
• Built planning and execution capacity of block and panchayat officials through PRA-based trainings, while monitoring multi-departmental programme implementation (NRLM, NRHM, MGNREGA, SWC) and ensuring robust documentation and reporting across all 38 villages.

Project: Jharkhand Tribal Empowerment & Livelihood Project, Supported by JTDS, Funded by IFAD & Sustainabale Development of Livelihood Opportunities, Funded by KKS, Germany. Led the implementation of sustainable livelihood development projects across 76 villages in Jamtara and Godda, working with 11,500 Scheduled Tribe (ST) households to enhance their income through the integration of 2-3 livelihood activities focusing on natural resource management, agriculture, animal husbandry, and non-timber forest produce (NTFP).

Climate Resource Centre Manager - DRCSC - Purulia & Bankura, West Bengal

Project: Enhancing Adaptive Capacity and Increasing Resilience of Small and Marginal Farming and Allied Sector Supported by NABARD, Funded by AFB. Worked with 1,500 marginal farmers on weather forecasting and agro-advisory services during this period, utilizing an automated weather station and the support of the Meteorological Department via SMS.

Project: Sustainable Integrated Farming System Supported by BMZ and Welthungerhilfe. Worked with 4,000 marginal farmers in Deoghar to implement integrated and sustainable farming systems, reducing input costs through composting, improving crop–livestock–fishery productivity, utilizing wastelands for millet cultivation, and enabling value addition for higher market returns.
