Cybersecurity Analyst with hands-on experience in SIEM monitoring and threat investigation using Splunk — including SPL-based log analysis, cross-source correlation, dashboard building, and automated alert configuration. Additional lab experience in network traffic analysis with Wireshark and vulnerability assessment using Nmap and OpenVAS. Built and tested a multi-OS virtual lab in VMware (Windows Server, Ubuntu, Android, Parrot OS), including Active Directory domain setup, user management, and policy configuration.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS concepts, the incident response lifecycle, and AWS basics (EC2, IAM). Skilled in identifying attack surfaces, analyzing packets (ARP, ICMP, TCP, HTTP), phishing/email triage, and producing clear security documentation.
No prior formal job experience; strong hands-on lab exposure and practical, self-directed cybersecurity investigation work equivalent to entry-level SOC analyst tasks
