As part of the role I was managing high volumes of clinical specimens (100+ samples) and corresponding patient records daily (data entry) using Hive (Epic EPR).
I attained proficiency in all laboratory areas, including blood, respiratory, superficial, and fungal, through a structured training & competency under direct supervision by Biomedical Scientists.
I supported complete laboratory readiness by managing the preparation of testing media, scheduling autoclave sterilisation for biohazardous waste in accordance with SOPs, and monitoring consumable stock levels (inventory management).
