My name is Ankit Kumar Dhiman from Himachal Pradesh India. I have done my Ph.D. under the supervision of Dr. Upendra Sharma from CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology, Palampur, Himachal Pradesh, India. My thesis title is “ Development of Methodologies for the synthesis of N-heterocyclic derivatives through C-H bond Functionalization”. Along with this, I have done the synthesis of 1-benzylisoquinoline derivatives through total synthesis by following the reported methods.
I have done work in the area of C-H functionalization of N-heterocyclic derivatives. The work involves the synthesis, isolation and characterization of organic molecules by using various spectroscopic techniques. I have handled analytical instruments like GC, HPLC, Flash Chromatography, Glove Box, NMR (300 MHz). In addition, I have experience Metal Catalysis.
I am Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences.
