My name is Ankita Malu, and I am a recent graduate from Sikkim University with a degree in Environmental Science, focusing on air pollution. I am writing to express my strong interest in contributing to research in the field of Atmospheric Science, particularly in areas related to air pollution and its impacts on our environment and health.
I have completed my Bachelor's (Bachelor of Science, B.Sc.) and Master's (Master of Science, M.Sc.) in Environmental Science with later specializing in aerosol studies. My thesis topic was "Assessment of Black Carbon and Brown Carbon Associated with Fine Aerosols in Ambient Air of Gangtok, Sikkim, India”. I received a gold medal for my academic performance during my Master's program. Additionally, as an intern at the at CAIPEEX (Cloud Aerosol Interaction and Precipitation Enhancement Experiment) at the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM) in Pune, I had the opportunity to contribute to aerosol-cloud research projects
