Quality Assurance Intern - Varun Beverages Limited (VBL)

• Process Quality Monitoring: Assisting in the real-time monitoring of high-speed carbonated soft drink (CSD) and packaged drinking water (PDW) bottling lines to ensure adherence to PepsiCo's global quality standards
• Water Treatment Analysis: Performing routine analysis of raw and treated water, including tests for pH, Total Hardness, Alkalinity, and Residual Chlorine to ensure compliance with processing requirements
• Syrup & Beverage Testing: Conducting sensory and chemical evaluations of finished beverages, checking for Brix (sugar content), Gas Volume (carbonation levels), and Total Acidity
• Microbiological Surveillance: Supporting the microbiology lab in air sampling, swab testing of equipment, and membrane filtration techniques to ensure a sterile production environment
• Packaging Quality Control: Inspecting primary and secondary packaging materials, focusing on torque testing, secure seal integrity, and coding accuracy (Batch No./Expiry)
• HACCP & Food Safety: Participating in daily floor audits to ensure strict implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Personal Hygiene standards
• Instrumentation: Gaining hands-on experience with laboratory equipment such as digital refractometers, CO2 testers, and spectrophotometers, including their daily calibration
