During my internship, I worked across revenue cycle management, insurance eligibility verification, pre-authorization, and denial management using systems like DHPO, Riayati, and Mednet. I gained practical exposure to TPA and payer rules (NAS, Daman, MetLife, INAYA), DOH/HAAD adjudication guidelines, and coding across multiple specialties including E/M, radiology, dental, and outpatient procedures.
