I am Anoushka Singh, a recent postgraduate with a Master's in English Literature from Delhi University.
I have recently started as a freelance proofreader and content editor at Oxford University Press India and have interned with a publishing house and am looking forward to expanding my learning area and gaining more experience. In my previous internship, I worked as an Assistant Editor with Blue Rose Publishers, where I was responsible for editing manuscripts and liaising with vendors for the smooth functioning of the editing process. I also reviewed content for and sent them for publication and wrote blogs for the company website.
I have been working as a freelance beta reader since 2020 where I got to work with several authors and gave them valuable feedback about their books. I also have an eye for detail and will very quickly learn the specificities of editing.
I've worked as a co-editor on IGNIS Volume 3, an anthology of 42 poems from 24 poets from all over India. I categorized the poems under different sub-headings and managed a team of illustrators to complete the book on time.
