About
Senior full stack engineer with 11+ years building workflow-heavy, multi-tenant B2B platforms end to end: Go (Gin, gRPC) services, Kafka event pipelines and React interfaces, run on AWS and Kubernetes. Also experienced in ETL and data engineering, building idempotent pipelines that load financial data from multiple upstream systems into Oracle as a system of record.
Experience
Software Engineer (Strong Middle) at Intellias Information Services India (2026-03 – 2026-08)
Editorial Workflow Platform: Internal CMS where editors create, review, approve and publish recipes across multiple markets.
- Owned the full recipe lifecycle, modeling each recipe as an explicit state machine (draft, review, approved, published, retired) with validated transitions in Go (Gin) REST APIs.
- Integrated downstream consumers through event-driven workflows triggered by recipe state changes, publishing events to AWS SNS/SQS to keep dependent systems consistent without tight coupling.
- Built a React template and content editor on reusable form components with schema-based validation, draft auto-save and version history, so editors could compare content before publishing.
- Stored recipes and version history in PostgreSQL on RDS (sqlx), cached hot reads in Redis on ElastiCache, and stored media in S3 with IAM-controlled access. Added CloudWatch logging and alerts.
- Shipped through Docker, GitHub Actions and Kubernetes rolling deployments with zero downtime, using Claude Code, Cursor and Copilot to speed up development, refactoring and testing.
Senior Software Engineer at Advertup Marketing India (2021-04 – 2026-02)
Social Intelligence Platform: B2B SaaS for brands to analyze social audiences and performance, and to plan, approve and publish content.
- Built Go (Gin, gRPC-Go) microservices and defined service contracts in Protocol Buffers alongside REST APIs.
- Built Go ingestion services pulling social data into Kafka (confluent-kafka-go), normalizing each platform’s payloads into a common schema, with rate-limit handling, retries with backoff and idempotent, replay-safe consumers.
- Ran ingestion, scheduling, publishing, notification and analytics as Kafka-driven services with background workers. Used MongoDB for flexible content, PostgreSQL for transactional data and Redis for caching.
- Designed content and asset management (templates, campaign variations, media, approvals, version tracking) and the APIs behind audience segmentation and analytics, with server-side pagination and filtering.
- Built a reusable React workflow board for content approvals with status columns, filters, search, bulk actions and role-based visibility.
- Raised reliability with structured logging, service metrics, Kafka consumer monitoring, health checks and distributed tracing. Deployed on Kubernetes via Jenkins and GitHub Actions with autoscaling and health probes, using AWS RDS, Lambda, S3 and CloudWatch.
Software Engineer II at Uber India Research & Development (2018-10 – 2021-03)
Freight Invoice Issue Tracker: Internal tool for operations, finance and carrier-support teams to raise, track and resolve carrier invoice disputes.
- Built Go microservices to create, assign, prioritize, track and resolve disputes across 1M+ carrier invoices a year, exposed over gRPC and REST.
- Designed APIs and workflows for issue categorization, SLA tracking and status transitions, with comments, activity timelines, search and resolution flows.
- Built Go ETL pipelines loading financial data (invoices, payments, adjustments) from multiple upstream systems into Oracle as the financial source of truth.
- Normalized upstream schemas into a common financial model with validation, deduplication, reconciliation checks and idempotent, re-runnable loads.
- Built a React data table with sortable and filterable columns, SLA breach indicators, inline assignment and status updates, debounced search and CSV export over paginated APIs.
Software Engineer I at Accolite Labs India Pvt Ltd (2015-07 – 2018-09)
EduThrill: online learning product with courses, quizzes and live leaderboards.
- Built Java REST microservices for a platform serving 10K+ students, covering course management, assessments and enrollment.
- Implemented result processing and real-time leaderboards, using Redis for leaderboard state.
- Created reusable React components for browsing and filtering courses and enrolling, backed by the course and enrollment APIs.
- Containerized services with Docker and deployed them on AWS (EC2, RDS) and Kubernetes.
- Automated releases with Jenkins CI/CD to support horizontal scaling.
