• Purchase materials for inventory and non-stock items for branches and customer orders.
• Review and process purchase orders; send to vendors via fax or EDI.
• Monitor and confirm successful transmission of orders; update system with expected ship dates.
• Resolve purchase order errors and discrepancies.
• Investigate and address issues related to incorrect or damaged materials.
• Review open purchase orders and related reports.
• Assist with cycle counts and stock rotations.
• Maintain and file purchase order records.
• Monitor inventory levels and recommend adjustments as needed.
