After completing a course in naval architecture and ship building in 2015; I started working as management trainee (Naval Architect) in the Design department- Goa Shipyard Limited, India. I am presently working as Deputy Manager in Hull Design Section. I see this opportunity as a way to contribute to an exciting/forward-thinking company.

With more than 7 years’ experience in ship building sector, I am acquainted with the minute details associated with the job. I have acquired enough experience to start as an independent Naval Architect. I am also well familiar with the Hull Form preparation, designing as per customer/ Class Rules, preparing General Arrangement and designing structures. This professional expertise will help to improve the quality of designs and thereby the projects too.

• Support the design team and Coordinator for handling all technical issues that arise.
• Good planning and project management skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of class societies and relevant design standards.
• Strong analytical skills, including expertise with spreadsheets & power point presentations.
