- Conducted background research, draft official communications, prepare presentations and other project collateral to support development, reporting, and communication.
- Orchestrated national workshops and seed conferences for SATHI, ensuring comprehensive stakeholder involvement.
- Devised a streamlined SATHI on-boarding process in collaboration with stakeholders and the National Informatics Centre (NIC), facilitating successful software modules rollouts.
- As a result, over 500 officials were trained, impacted more than 382 government institutions across 25 States/UTs, thereby enhancing seed traceability throughout the supply chain, ultimately benefiting farmers.
ICAR-NBPGR, Senior Research Fellow - Championed the enhancement of conservation practices to preserve the diverse genetic resources of the National GeneBank (NGB).
- Developed innovative protocols aimed at increasing seed longevity while researching methods to mitigate ageing factors.
- Participated actively in various training sessions and workshops focused on safeguarding agrobiodiversity within the NGB framework.
- Consequently, over 4000 samples were evaluated, spanning more than 50 crops, and managed the NGB database, prepared presentations, conducted research and published 16+ research articles, and other research work to support the NGB development, reporting, and communication.
- My efforts contributed significantly to fortifying NGB's resilience, facilitating adaptation to climate change, and addressing global food security challenges.
