An astute professional Entomologist with nearly 9+years of experience having expertise in the areas of Research and Development, Insect rearing techniques and bioassays (laboratory, greenhouse, and net-house conditions), Leaf detach assay , Cut stem assay, whole plant bioassay, seed treatment experriments, Insect Survival, insect midgut isolation and field trials capabilities in Entomological and Agronomic trait evaluations and Insect resistant management.
• Responsible for rearing of important Corn, Rice, Brinjal and Cabbage lepidopteran pests, Insect Quarantine, Insect resistance management studies (Baseline susceptibility studies LC50 ,LD50), traits evaluations –Green house &Field and Research management system.
• Design and develop prototype and production insectary for rearing of black solider fly, snails, and Mealworm (Edible insects) • Assigned the tasks of providing essential inputs in the management and planning in the scientific and technical aspects of various programs.
• Gained adequate knowledge in identifying damage caused by pests on Agricultural field crops based on the symptomatology and Etiology.
• Ability to undertake and formulate research programs and projects within limited time.
• Ambitious and reliable with strong work ethics having excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills, and a diligent learner with multitasking abilities.
• Had a visit to Aarahus University, Denmark to discuss on Faba Bean Aphid and their impact in Denmark • Had a visit to Ferrera University, Italy for training on Snail Mucus extraction (Automation) and their in benefits in Pharma & food industry
