Electrical Engineering has always been more than just a field of study for me—it’s a passion that drives my curiosity and innovation. I hold an M.Tech in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calcutta, with a strong academic foundation in Power Electronics, Smart Grid, and Embedded Systems. My research interests lie in Renewable Energy, Grid Integration, Power Quality, and Electric Vehicles, and I actively contribute to these fields through both research and teaching.
I am also a proud IEEE, IET, and IEI member, staying engaged with the latest advancements in electrical engineering.
Throughout my career, I have gained diverse industry and research experience. Currently, I work as a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Calcutta, focusing on developing compact and efficient grid-tied solar-powered inverters. Additionally, I serve as an Assistant Professor at St.
Thomas’ College of Engineering and Technology, where I share my knowledge with the next generation of engineers. My past roles include working as a Project Engineer in power electronics and embedded systems, an R&D Embedded Developer, and a System Operation Apprentice at ERLDC-POSOCO. I have hands-on experience with TI C2000, STM32, dsPIC, MATLAB/Simulink, PSSE, PVsyst, PowerCAD, and AutoCAD.
Looking ahead, I am eager to contribute to cutting-edge research in power electronics, control strategies for grid-tied inverters, and smart energy solutions. My goal is to bridge the gap between academia and industry by integrating innovative control techniques with real-world power systems applications. I am always open to collaborations that drive technological advancements in renewable energy and power electronics.
