• Conduct regular safety inspections of work areas, equipment, and tools to identify hazards and unsafe conditions. Investigate accidents, near misses, unsafe acts, and prepare reports with corrective actions.
• Implement and maintain the Work Permit System for hot work, confined space entry, work at height, electrical work, and other critical activities, including proper documentation and record maintenance.
• Prepare safety reports, presentations, PPTs for meetings, audits, management reviews, and safety promotional activities.
• Conduct CSCM and DSCM activities and maintain related records in an organized manner.
• Organize and coordinate mock drills, TBT & employee safety training sessions on fire emergencies, evacuation, medical emergencies, PPE usage, chemical handling, firefighting equipment, emergency response, and safe work practices etc. & prepare drill reports and observations.
• Support internal and external safety audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations and corrective actions.
• Ensure proper availability, inspection, and usage of PPE across the workplace.
• Maintain AMC records and service reports for fire & safety equipment, ensuring timely inspection, testing, and maintenance activities.

Fireman - Berger Paints India Limited

• Maintained inspection checklists and records of fire safety systems and equipment.
• Handled and maintained firefighting equipment such as fire pump house systems, fire alarm systems, extinguishers, DV systems, nitrogen suppression systems, fire monitors, hydrants, and hose reels to ensure proper working condition.
• Conducted gas testing in work areas and monitored lux level, noise level, and ammonia level to maintain safe working conditions.
• Provided safety standby during critical jobs such as hot work, confined space entry, work at height, and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with safety procedures and emergency preparedness.
• Coordinated emergency drills for fire, evacuation, medical, and other emergency situations.
• Conducted safety training sessions on firefighting equipment usage, PPE, emergency response, gas testing, and safe work practices.
