· Processed 200+ mandatory, mondatory with option and voluntary corporate action events (Mergers, Splits, Dividend, Stock Dividend, Bonus, Open Offer, Rights Issue, etc.) monthly across IG systems with 99%+ accuracy rate.
· Possess in-depth knowledge of SWIFT messaging standards, including MT599, MT565, and MT566. Strong understanding of custody, settlement, and asset servicing workflows across global markets, · Posted cash dividends (Ex -date and paydate) across leverage and share dealing product types on to the clients account, ensuring timely and accurate settlement.
· Managed the election process for voluntary events by coordinating with internal teams, compiling aggregated instructions, and liaising with agents/custodians to ensure timely and accurate receipt. · Managed end-to-end client communication including event notifications and election instructions for 3,000+ client accounts and election choice documentation for voluntary CA events.
· Performed and resolved complex (T+1) reconciliation breaks and discrepancies resulting from Corporate Action and dividend processing. · Accurately processed stock transfers and updated relevant static data in internal systems as required.
· Resolved 50+ client and helpdesk queries weekly by resolving inquiries from retail and premium clients as well as internal helpdesk requests in a timely and professional manner.
· Optimized operational efficiency through development and implementation of Excel macros for client instruction collation and booking preparation workflows.
· Supported User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new systems and processes, coordinating with stakeholders to validate functionality and requirements on CA events and dividends on IM Actions.
