• Conducting risk assessment for routine and non-routine activities for risk mitigation.
• To conduct regular Safety audit, Safety inspection, HAZID, HAZOP, JSA, Preliminary Hazard Analysis, Fire Safety, Electrical Safety audit, Legal compliance audit, corporate guidelines compliance audit and MOC checking audit. 
• To co-ordinate with all relevant government agencies/authorities to get NOC, License, Consent, Authorization, Approval, Renewal, periodical testing, inspection follow up for 100% legal compliance.
• Advising and monitoring Effluent Treatment Plant activities.
• Developing training module and conducting training programmes.
• Conceiving and conducting promotional activities to increase awareness in EHS.
• Developing and customizing EHS procedures/systems and methods from corporate guidelines.
• Establishing and maintaining fire protection system for entire factory.
• Identifying training needs, preparing training modules to provide Induction, Refresher training programmes.
• Developing and implementing contractor safety management system.
• Designing different types of waste collection, storage and handling systems.
• Forming and administering safety committee by conducting regular meetings.
• Carrying out Near miss/Accident investigation for avoiding reoccurrence of accidents.
• Carrying out different type of monitoring (Air/Work zone) for ensuring sound EHS practices.
• To interact with various suppliers to ensure safety requirements in purchase process.
