Arun Balaji

With a Ph.D. in Agronomy from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, currently a Research Associate at public sector, Having concrete two and half years of teaching and research experience. I have authored 20 publications in total including international and national journals, with book chapters, technical bulletins, leaflets and scientific abstracts. My dedication to research was recognized with the Best Thesis Award from a renowned institute.

I have participated in 18 conferences, workshops and short courses and bagged three awards. My expertise lies in monitoring, evaluation, learning, undergraduate educator, guided students for higher education, involved in National Food security mission (NFSM) and public private partnership program, managing diverse work group, efficiency analysis and experimental research, utilizing tools such as the R software package.

Research Associate (Agronomy), Monitoring, evaluation and learning of cotton fields under the NFSM Special project on cotton. Assisted in climate change studies impacting cotton production in India using R software package. Experimental data analysis for different designs of experiments.

Scientific report writing, data handling, documentation, and visualization of deliverables in an attractive manner via Lucid chart, R Software, E-views, PowerPoint, MS Office packages. Organizing training program, workshops field visit, interactive meeting for farmers and stakeholders. Contractual help in conducting advanced agronomic field experiments.

Assisted in SEM image capture, sputter coating (an advance technique for live sample preparation methods) and lab equipment handling.
