I am a calm and composed surgeon with substantial experience in the field of ENT. Having worked at government hospitals has allowed me to gain plenty of first-hand clinical exposure, and I can perform most outpatient procedures independently. I have significant clinical exposure in paediatric cases, having worked in an institute attached to a dedicated paediatric hospital.
I am confident in performing the majority of routine ENT surgeries independently and am also capable of executing complex procedures under the direct supervision of consultants. I have assisted consultants and performed major cases like total laryngectomy, neck dissection, and thyroidectomy both under supervision and independently during my recent fellowship. I am also skilled at caring for post-operative patients in the hospital.
My role as a senior resident has given me the confidence to handle emergency cases independently. I can perform emergency procedures like tracheostomy, esophagoscopy, and incision and drainage of head and neck abscesses independently. I am aware of my limitations and will never hesitate to seek help when necessary.

18 months senior clinical fellow position in head and neck oncology. Received intense training in outpatient and inpatient care of head and neck cancer patients, along with structured training in surgical aspects, including neck dissection, thyroidectomy, laryngectomy, laser resections, and robotic surgery. Received training in management of oral cavity cancers, including glossectomies, mandibulectomies, and maxillectomies.
Had exposure to anterior and lateral skull base malignancies. Gained experience in reconstructive surgery, including local, distant, and free flap techniques. Work with state-of-the-art operating theatre equipped with laser, coblator, sialoendoscope, microdebrider, harmonic, piezoelectric saw, and modern microscopes.
Received training in robotic surgery. Part of weekly rehabilitation multidisciplinary conference and regular journal club presentations relevant to head and neck oncology.
