- Implementing, coaching and empowering 8-member team on Scrum/Agile methodologies for 2-week sprints
- Facilitating sessions on Agile to educate the management and team on its principles, values, and benefits
- Facilitating Impact Mapping and Story Mapping workshops to identify and define priority features for upcoming sprints
- Facilitating planning sessions to finalize MVP, break it down into epics and further down to user stories
- Established best practice processes between Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Engineering to ensure a shared understanding of requirements has been established.
- Guiding team to slice larger user stories into smaller ones (INVEST) and refine the backlog
- Driving user story estimation sessions using Affinity Estimation and Planning Poker (Fibonacci series) techniques
- Driving sessions with PO and Development Team to finalize on Definition of Ready and Definition of Done
- Planning sprint goals with team based on their bandwidth, and ensuring that we have a healthy backlog with next sprint’s user stories to be estimated
- Leveraging team to tackle obstacles reducing wait time whilst working on a resolution
- Setting up ground rules for the team to ensure that the Scrum framework is embraced and followed
- Ensured the teams are undertaking agreed ceremonies within the agile process and consistency is built across the delivery teams.
- Ensured open communication culture is embedded between IT and business stakeholders.
- Driving team to use Jira/Confluence to maintain all documentation (including induction material) in a common repository
- Responsible for starting and completing sprints in JIRA and assigning user stories to current sprint from the product backlog
- Identifying risks and issues proactively and mitigating them to enable smooth delivery
Liaising with SMs to ensure the swift removal of blockers to meet every team’s deadline.
