Accomplished and Multi-skilled Software Engineering professional with over 13 years of rich IT experience in US Healthcare and Banking & Financial Services (BNFS) domain.
● Expertise across all SDLC phases including requirement analysis, solution design, development, SIT/UAT,
production implementation, production support, incident management, problem management, change management with proven track record of managing and delivering small to extra-large business projects balancing scope, schedule, interdependencies, budget, and risks for both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
● Experience in identifying and delivering cost & stability improvement opportunities and delivering initiatives for cost optimization and legacy systems modernization.
● Experience in developing and implementing system resiliency measures including monitoring and alerting,
stability improvements, disaster recovery, automation and performance tuning strategies.
● Experience in developing new products/services, from design to delivery.
● Ability to effectively work with multiple business and technology partners to drive innovation and deliver complex product/service propositions.
● Significant experience in leading full-stack development in developing and deploying applications across wide range of technologies, including Big Data stack (MapR, Spark, Scala, HBase, Hive, Shell Scripting) , JavaScript Frameworks
(React), JAVA, Springboot, Python, Kafka, Microservice Architecture and legacy Mainframe technologies (COBOL, JCL,
CICS, VSAM, DB2).
● Good Experience in opportunities identification for legacy migration to Big Data tech stack, Rest API’s & zOS connect
API’s, Cloudframe, Realtime Kafka streaming solutions.
● Excellent experience in supporting and maintaining large scale production applications and handling ongoing maintenance and stability upkeep.
● Experience in managing IT Operations and Service management which include Capacity planning, system availability,
incident management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Level Management, and other critical services for Cloud Infrastructure & Application Maintenance and production support.
● Serve as the Primary Point of Contact for Internal and External stakeholders, including executives, product owners,
sales, marketing, legal & compliance, customer support, and external product partners, Technology partner & Strategic
Outsource Providers.
● Abilities to work independently with minimal guidance while balancing multiple concurrent deadlines and shifting priorities as appropriate to meet business needs.
● Zeal to explore latest technological advancements and pursue POC’s
● Wear multiple hats carrying exp in Development, Testing, Production support, Project Management, Budgeting, JAD sessions, Business discussions and proposals, people management, onshore experience, legacy modernization,
application service level ownership, Security and vulnerability management, hackathon’s, productivity improvement,
tuning , application DR, Monitoring and alerting, PLM activities, CI/CD, SonarQube, Splunk, Grafana, Interlink.
