• CBC/ Coagulation/ BB Tests
• Sysmex and DXH
• Sample collection, handling and processing
• Ongoing controls and special tests
• Verification of reports or results
• Operation of coagulation analyzer
• Review and reposing of reagent results
• Calibration of reagent
• Daily, weekly and monthly maintenance of equipment
• ACL 500/750 and Stago
• All factor thrombophilia Adam 13
• Ortho and IH 1000
• Troubleshooting
• Documentation and reporting
• Phlebotomy
• Blood Grouping and cross matching
• Maintain stock and Inventory
• Attending blood donation camps
• Component preparation
• Discarding the Biomedical waste (as per SOP) after autoclave and maintaining the concerned records
• Maintaining records of temperature, stock submitting SBTC reports on line and preparing monthly reports
• Maintaining daily Quality control records in the Serology lab
• Communicating with patients and handling the request at the reception
• Handling the software of the blood bank
• Handling cash and preparing receipt
• Taking care of Thalassemia patients in our Thalassemia Day care Center attached to blood bank
