- Identifying scope for performance improvement of plant infrastructure through CAPEX and accordingly preparation of Capital expenditure proposal with detailed Technical specifications, Feasibility study, Benefit analysis, Payback calculations, Technical discussions and negotiations with Equipment suppliers, management approval and final execution of job, Training of Operations staff
- Planning and Review of all Project activities with a view to ensure Project cost, project time line & Cash flow are well within budget
- Leading discussions with consultants, designers, suppliers, OEMS, Service providers, Statutory Agencies for Project & Maintenance Management activities
- Review & Monitoring of daily mould manufacturing planning, maintenance planning to align with production and dispatch plans
- Playing a Pivotal role in improving HSE culture in the plant by doing Risk Analysis in various equipment, processes and designing Safety protocols, SOP, Safety check sheets, Autonomous Check sheets, Condition Monitoring to minimize or eliminate the risks, Regular Safety audits, RCA for each Unsafe conditions /Acts and Near misses and Action plan and compliance monitoring
- Implementation of modern effective techniques such as QMS, Quality Circles, Lean Management, debottlenecking of problems,5S to ensure a safe working environment, high efficiency in operations, improve quality standards, achieve maximum cost savings
- Planning and monitoring of Equipment condition monitoring, technical audits, safety audits, statutory audits and compliance
- Planning and monitoring of preventive, predictive, Opportunity based maintenance and troubleshooting of all machines and components
- Major Revamping and up gradation of Plant machinery
- Plant down time monitoring, RCA to identify gaps and take corrective/Preventive measures
- Maintaining CAPA, MTBF, MTTR, Machine History Analysis and cross functional audits
- Planning, monitoring and control of spares and consumables costs for plant
- Cost saving / cost reduction activities through continual improvement Projects, Value Engineering techniques
- Auditing of All Losses (MUDA) and action plan to minimize losses and continuous monitoring
- Conversant with basics of finance for operation and maintenance functions including estimation, budgeting, expenditure, contracting, billing and control of costs
- Doing Skill Gap Analysis and organizing need-based training for sub-ordinates and workers
