Being an active test lead, my contribution would start from preparing Test Plan, reviewing Customer Requirement document, providing improvement suggestions, interacting with product owners to assess and review Product Risk areas, sharing Test Strategies with stake holders, planning current test activities with estimation for different test aspects/phases, organizing other test artifacts (Test Case Design, Test Document Review, Trace Matrix, Test Improvement topics, etc.,) with team and communicating with project and quality managers (adhering process), Defect handling and providing inputs on the product quality iteratively to stake holders, analyzing defects, preparing Impact Analysis and plan for Regression testing, publishing test result status to all stake holders, verifying and validating products towards different milestones, summarizing test phase results in Test Summary report to deliver the product, manage and control test team towards project success with zero slippage and high quality.
All above, coordinating with cross project test leads/teams to organize and ensure a smooth availability of hardware and package dependencies during all test cycles, to understand and distribute common tasks between cross teams, win-win contribution between cross project teams towards project success.
