Avinash Kumar is an intrapreneur and result-oriented professional having 9+ years of experience with non-profit organization in the thematic areas of climate change (Agriculture), community development, institution and capacity building, livelihoods, relief, and disaster management.
He is a Climate Reality Leader trained by Al Gore, a Nobel Peace Prize winner and former Vice President of USA. Currently he is pursuing Master of Arts in Environmental Science from Nalanda Open University, India. He has deep interest in non-profit sector (environmental conservation).
After completing his Master's in Computer Application in 2012, he has joined a nonprofit in 2013 and since then he is working with 50000+ farmers for improving the livelihood and income.
He is working as Manager Program with KAUSHALYA Foundation since March 2013. He is responsible for project planning and execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope. His responsibility is to negotiate with project stakeholders to mobilize resources, develop and manage annual budgets for programs, development of M&E Framework of programs and formation and promotion of Farmer Producer Organizations.
He has good IT skill- MS Office, Photoshop, Filmora, Mail Chimp, Canva, HTML. He can design and develop websites.
He was Curator of Global Shapers Community, Patna Hub (Elected as Curator in 2016, 2019). He was part of Indian delegation representative in Shapers Summit in 2019 in Geneva, and Annual Curators Meeting in 2016 in Geneva, Switzerland, organized by World Economic Forum. He was part of Climate Reality Delegation, organized by The Climate Reality Project, in 2017 at Pittsburgh, USA for Climate Reality Training.
