I began my journey with a summer internship at Credit Suisse, where my role was to explore the world of mortgage options and enhance customer interactions in the area. This internship introduced me to the Spring Boot framework. Within the two-month time frame, I excelled at the technology and developed a chatbot for the company’s website.

The chatbot could calculate mortgage values and answer customer queries with intelligence, work which otherwise humans had to do. This internship taught me to implement solutions keeping the end user in mind.

After my undergraduate studies, I joined Walmart, where I proved to be the quickest learner in my batch and received the ‘Bravo Award’ within 6 months of joining for going above and beyond what was expected of me. Due to my consistent performance, I was trusted with the ownership of an entire feature. I single-handedly managed the project right from the initial discovery until its production deployment, while aligning the deliverables with multiple dependent teams.

The feature allows auto-approving item maintenance submissions. As a result, Walmart associates have saved up to 50% of their time that was once spent in manually reviewing those submissions. I was able to deliver the feature within timelines while maintaining the quality of code.

My penchant for technology and problem solving led me to pursue a B. Tech. in Information Technology. My hard work and determination helped me secure a CGPA of 9.73/10. I enjoyed studying courses like Object Oriented Programming, Data Structure & Algorithms and Database Management to name a few. I also enjoyed putting the learned concepts into practice through various assignments and projects.
