Electrical steel Mill will produce Grain Oriented fully processed Silicon based steel which is a special steel to achieve Magnetic properties such as low Core loss (Hysteresis Loss & Eddy Current Loss) and high permeability through on-line process like annealing & Coating.

Key responsibilities included:- Heat treatment process, annealing cycle control.

• Drying, Radiant tube, Soaking, Airtube cooling furnace operation. • Set up temperature, equipment parameters in line with process requirement.

•Pyrometers, thermocouple set points, furnace pressure, hydrogen,nitrogen and NG gas pressure set.

•Baking furnace operation.

• Purging operations in shutdown

SOP revision and updating work

• Production Development and Quality Control.
• Production process control.

•SAP and MES operation.

•Starts up / shuts down equipment of coating line production.

•Control lopper oerations and visual inspection of strip surface at exit.

•Looking after overall process section such as Furnace and Delivery section.

JOB RESPONSIBILIES DURING PROJECT STAGE:-

•Taken part in execution of project involving installation, Testing and setting of machineries in the Continuous Annealing Line.

• During commissioning, furnace section Leak & Tightening test by Nitrogen & oxygen.
• All instruments controlled by DCS test taken. Puch-pointidentification and rectification.
• Cold trail, Hot trail, synchronization test, interlocks and logic functionand control tested.

•P&ID modification.
