here is a lot that goes into managing a salon. I have to schedule all employees and ensure they all clock into their shifts. On top of that, I have to analyze daily and monthly sales goals to meet the owner’s expectations. Part of running the salon is keeping a healthy environment and promoting positivity throughout the workplace.

1. Lesson Planning & Delivery – AKA, crafting the perfect lesson… only to have it derailed by a fire drill. 
2. Marking & Assessments – Because learning isn’t official until it’s graded. 
3. Classroom Management – Keeping 30+ students in line without losing your sanity. 
4. Encouraging Engagement – Making Shakespeare exciting for Year 9? That’s an extreme sport. 
5. Curriculum Development – Sticking to the national curriculum while still making it engaging. 
6. Safeguarding & Wellbeing – Being part teacher, part counsellor, part human shield from playground dramas. 
7. Collaboration with Parents & Staff – Parent meetings: where diplomacy and caffeine come in handy. 
8. Professional Development – Because education never stands still. 

1. Personalised Learning – Tailoring lessons to a student’s needs, because one-size-fits-all doesn’t work here. 
2. Reinforcing Classroom Learning – Filling in the gaps (or reteaching everything before GCSEs).
