- Member of structural and vertical equipment system (Military aircraft landing gear)
- Dispositioning Discrepancies: Analise defective materials, structural components, or engine systems and assign an engineering disposition (e.g., use as is, repair, or scrap)
- Drawing & Specification Review: Interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T to evaluate how a defect impacts form, fit, and function
- Repair Development: Design and validate custom repair methods or revisions to manufacturing processes for damaged or out-of-tolerance parts
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary engineering liaison between Quality, Manufacturing, and Design departments
- Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA): Investigate manufacturing anomalies and participate in 8D or root-cause problem-solving to prevent recurring defects
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all repairs and part usages comply with aviation standards (e.g., FAA or EASA) and internal Quality Management Systems
- Safety & Risk Assessment: Evaluate the safety risks and functional impact of accepting a deviation, particularly for 'major' non-conformances
- Projects handled are Rafale, A400 Cargo, Mirage 2000, ATL and Airbus helicopters landing gears
- Software used MS Document & Catia V5, 2D Drawing and 3D modelling
