• Structural Analysis & Modeling: Developing accurate 3D mathematical models of PEB structures using software like SOLIDWORKS to analyze load-bearing capacities.
• Optimization: Calculating precise member sizes and thicknesses for primary frames (columns, rafters) and secondary members (purlins, girts) to minimize steel tonnage while maintaining safety and code compliance.
• Load Calculation: Applying complex load factors, including wind (IS 875), seismic, dead, and live loads, as well as specialized crane loads for industrial sheds.
• Connection Design: Designing welded or bolted structural connections, including base plates, rigid frame joints, and bracing systems.
• Drawing Review & Approval: Verifying Approval Drawings, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, 3D Complete Model sheet & plate Nesting and Detailed Shop Drawings for accuracy before they move to the fabrication floor.
