Worked on "Hypervalent iodine mediated oxidative transformations for the development of drug scaffold and synthesis of novel 1,5-oxaza spiroquinone scaffolds and SAR testing in GSK3β and SMYD2 inhibitors" at Gachon University, College of Pharmacy, South Korea. During the course of my tenure as a Doctoral Research Fellow at Gachon University, College of Pharmacy, I completed the synthesis of 1,5-oxaza spiroquinone scaffolds using hypervalent iodine and developed a methodology for the synthesis of non-toxic spiroxo-2,3-dihydrofurans and oxazaspiro-2,5-dihydrofurans analogues using hypervalent iodine.
