Gained hands-on exposure to pharmaceutical process equipment — reactors, centrifuges, filtration systems, and a hydrogenation unit — studying their working principles, operating sequence, and role within the overall batch manufacturing workflow from a process engineering standpoint. Studied the plant's demineralized (DM) water treatment train (activated carbon filter, strong acid cation exchanger, degasser, and strong base anion exchanger) and the biomass-fired boiler system, understanding resin regeneration, furnace internals, and the water-quality progression required to meet boiler feed-water specifications. Performed PFD-based material and energy balance calculations across reactor, heat-exchanger, separator, and solvent-recycle streams, applying mass-transfer fundamentals to interpret ETP, absorption, and evaporation operations across the plant.

• Studied multi-layer electroplating on ABS/PC-ABS substrates — surface pre-treatment (etching and sensitization), sequential metal-layer deposition, and rinse/rinse-recovery stages — building an understanding of plating-bath composition and material–interface behavior.
• Observed key process parameters (bath temperature, current density, plating time, pH) across a high-throughput line and related their variation to coating quality and defects, while following industrial chemical handling and EHS protocols.
