I have thirty eight years of experience in managing new product development in the area of power electronics for industrial, rail transportation, e-mobility, renewable energy, battery energy storage, FACTS, power quality,

strategic application etc. Some of the developed products have been introduced in the product lines of BHEL,

and being used in industries, MW range PV power plant and Indian Railways.

In September 1983, I joined BHEL, Corporate R&D, Hyderabad, India as Engineer Trainee and promoted to

General Manager level during my tenure at Corporate R&D. I have vast experience in managing new product development projects involving geographically distributed development teams. Apart from Power Electronics

Lab., I also headed Electrical Machines, Permanent Magnet Machines, Insulation Technology, Switchgear

Development, High voltage Engineering, Fuel Cell & Renewable Energy Laboratories at Corporate R&D during my tenure as General Manger from June 2012 to February 2020. I was also HOD for Planning & Management

System, Intellectual Property and Human Resource Development Groups.

In February 2020, I was transferred as General Manager (Corporate Knowledge Management) to BHEL

Corporate Office, New Delhi to head Corporate Knowledge Management Group to develop knowledge repository of entire range of BHEL products and knowledge based engineering design of products to reduce design cycle time.

In June 2021, I was transferred as General Manager (Technology & Product Development) to BHEL

Electronics Division, Bangalore, to head CoE(Power Electronics), Engineering (Power Electronics) and

Production (Power Electronics) groups. In November 2021, I superannuated from BHEL, Electronics Division

Bangalore.

In December 2021, I joined Vasavi College of Engineering, Hyderabad as Professor of Electrical & Electronics

Engineering and pursuing my hobby of teaching and research in the area of power electronics.

Well versed with project management and people management to the utmost satisfaction of the stake holders in any ecosystem.

Experienced in managing new product development in the area of power electronics for industrial, rail transportation, e-mobility, renewable energy, battery energy storage, FACTS, power quality,

strategic application etc. Some of the developed products have been introduced in the product lines of BHEL,
