Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences, focusing on the role of mitochondrial contact sites in Leishmania donovani. Hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques such as gene cloning, plasmid isolation, bacterial transformation, protein expression and purification, SDS-PAGE. Worked with Leishmania donovani promastigotes in culture and performed functional assays such as MTT and fluorescence imaging.
Carried out lipid analysis using thin layer chromatography (TLC) and used bioinformatics tools for protein structure prediction (AlphaFold), molecular docking, sequence alignment, and structure visualization with PyMOL.
