• Monitoring & functioning of Safety Committee.
• Ensure that periodic mock drills are conducted as per schedule.
• Organizing and conducting safety Induction training for new employees.
• Monitoring & functioning of all firefighting equipment's & fire alarm systems.
• Carrying out Fire and Safety inspections and audits of plant sites and produce timely, accurate and detailed reports of safety performance for employees and contractors.
• Monitoring of gap audit / closure status and follow up action to ensure corrective are taken against the identified gaps and providing safety statistics to the management.
• Investigate work place accident, incident and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective action. Report safety incidents to management and relevant authorities as required.
• Identification of safety training needs and developing safety training materials and delivering safety training to all level of employees.
• Conduct risk assessments to determine the likelihood and severity of potential hazards.
• Develop and implement control measure to mitigate identified risk.
• Providing technical guidance and support for development and implementation of safety management system that include HSE Policy, Safety standard, SOP, Guidelines.
• Monitoring of contractor activities and review of work permit & JSA.
• Development of emergency plans and procedures considering various contingencies.
• Implementation of HSE plan and to prepare monthly HSE status report.
• Monitoring, checking & review of IMS System (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001)
• To ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are met and advise of any major non- compliance immediately. (Factory Act & Rule, CPCB, UPCB, CGWA, MSHIC, FHAT, PESO, Fire etc.)
