With nearly a decade of experience in leadership and teaching in early years' school settings, I am an experienced and passionate educator and practitioner. Currently, I am serving as the Technical Specialist – ECE & SEEL at Care India Solutions for Sustainable Development. In this role, I provide expert guidance and support in early childhood education (ECE) and socio-emotional ethical learning (SEEL) in intervention states such as Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and MCD, South Delhi.
My primary responsibility is to establish robust ECE programs in these states, integrating SEEL into regular classroom practices. I adopt a comprehensive approach, advocating for ECE as outlined by national policies at all levels, including state, district, teachers, parents, and other stakeholders.
Previously, I held the position of Primary Years Academic Coordinator at 21K School. In this capacity, I facilitated the implementation of the Cambridge Primary Years Program, striving to create an academically vibrant environment that incorporates cutting-edge technology to enhance teaching and learning. Furthermore, I fostered strong moral values among the school's 800 students and 50 teaching staff.
While delivering the Cambridge Primary Years Program, I emphasized active learning through play-based activities, building strong relationships with students and their families, and providing a safe, secure, and stimulating learning environment. The program also instilled qualities such as independence, self-confidence, and a love for learning in the children.
Assessment played a crucial role in the program, and I advocated for ongoing observation, assessment, and documentation to track students' progress and plan for their future learning. Recognizing the significance of diversity in children's backgrounds and experiences, I actively collaborated with families to support their children's learning and development. I consistently ensured that the school's offerings aligned with evolving global pedagogical practices, employing a range of traditional and progressive teaching methodologies in instructional planning and delivery.
This approach emphasized pedagogically focused learning solutions that seamlessly integrated new technology and encouraged innovative resource utilization.
My overarching goal is to promote academic excellence, cultivate a supportive teaching environment, and foster a genuine sense of community among students, teachers, and parents. I hold a master's degree in Commerce from Vidyasagar University and a Diploma in Montessori Method of Education from MMI, London. In response to changing global, social, economic, and educational trends, I am currently pursuing CACHE 5 & SENCo 3 courses from British Orchard Nursery to enhance my leadership skills.
