As a Cathodic Protection Engineer in Oil & Gas Industries/Refineries/Offshore & Onshore pipelines / Power Plants with about 7 years of specialized experience.
Knowledge of Inspection/Construction/Engineering/Design/Commissioning/ Surveys & Maintenance activities with extensive experience in Cathodic Protection.
Sound knowledge in fundamentals of corrosion mechanism, corrosion monitoring, electrochemistry, & Basic corrosion science.
Knowledge with DOTL, IOCL, BPCL, HPCL, GAIL, and NACE standards for corrosion control and prevention.
Experience
Designing the ICCP/Sacrificial Cathodic Protection system for Underground pipeline/structure and Internal/External Tank.
Review the procedure documents & check whether they meet the project specification or the company standards
Carrying out various site surveys/inspections
Quality Control in CP material selection programs
Preparation of installation & commissioning procedures, inspection of CP installations.
Planning & Implementation of cathodic protection monitoring and maintenance activities in accordance with specification requirements, quality control and safety requirements.
CP monitoring and maintenance programs
Carrying out various site surveys to form the basis for detail design and engineering.
Monitoring and maintenance programs for CP systems
Testing and commissioning of CP system.
