Own DevOps and infrastructure across the entire product portfolio - client platforms and internal products - while leading backend development on most of them. Sole or lead infrastructure engineer on seven live products.

• Architect and manage Kubernetes (AWS EKS) clusters for high-traffic consumer platforms serving millions of requests daily - cluster design, scaling, rollout strategy, resource tuning and availability.
• Run microservices infrastructure on AWS ECS supporting 100,000+ real user requests: service decomposition, autoscaling, task definitions and inter-service networking.
• Operate multi-tier data infrastructure across PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis and Elasticsearch - caching strategy, search indexing, replication and query tuning under sustained production load.
• Maintain real-time socket infrastructure streaming live stock market data, where delivery latency directly affects product correctness.
• Administer Linux servers across the estate - SSH access, service and process control, log management and remote execution.
• Build and maintain delivery pipelines across four toolchains - Jenkins, ArgoCD, CircleCI and AWS CodeBuild / CodePipeline - matched to each project's hosting model rather than forced into a single standard.
• Implemented GitOps continuous delivery with ArgoCD for Kubernetes workloads: declarative, version-controlled, auditable and quick to roll back.
• Own Android release cycles end to end through Google Play Console - signing, versioning, staged rollout and store compliance.
• Own iOS releases through App Store Connect, with Xcode Cloud pipelines handling automated builds and TestFlight distribution.
• Sign and ship macOS release builds - universal binaries for both Apple Silicon and Intel, Developer ID signing, notarisation and distribution.
• Lead backend development across seven products - Node.js and Express services, REST APIs, WebSocket services and PostgreSQL / MySQL schema design - shipping application code alongside the infrastructure under it.
• Build front ends in Next.js and React; manage complete client-side delivery and team coordination on client engagements as technical point of contact through to release.
• Deliver time-critical releases and production fixes outside business hours, across unfamiliar languages and codebases where required.
