- Handling administrative management by opening / closing of branch, manage cash controls, and ensure security procedures.
- Responsible for overseeing accurate and timely processing of cheque clearing transactions (INWARD/OUTWARD/RETURNS).
- Responsible for National Automated Clearing House (NACH) destination mandates and transaction processing.
- Perform strict document verification including KYC checks and signature verification for instruments
- Execute and monitor CTS clearing operations within define TAT.
- Ensure all check clearing transactions are processed in strict adherence to RBI guidelines and internal bank policies.
- Ensuring that the electronic data matches the physical records, and managing the reconciliation of the "Linking file" (linking cheque images with ledger entries) on a daily basis.
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational gaps that could lead to fraud or lapses. This involves ensuring strict adherence to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) standards.
- Managing the electronic submission of unpaid or dishonored cheques to the clearing house in the return session.
