Derrick Rajkumar

I am a Computer Science and Engineering student at Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai, with a strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. I enjoy building real-world, AI-driven applications and exploring areas such as computer vision, intelligent automation, and data-driven software systems. I am particularly interested in combining core computer science fundamentals with modern AI tools to develop impactful solutions.

I actively work on hands-on projects to strengthen my practical knowledge and continuously learn new technologies to improve my problem-solving and development skills.

I have worked on projects involving machine learning, document processing, and backend development, focusing on building practical and scalable solutions. I am experienced in working with tools such as Flask, Git, and data analysis libraries, and I actively strengthen my skills through project-based learning and problem solving in data structures and algorithms.

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering at Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai. My coursework has provided me with a strong foundation in programming, data structures and algorithms, database management systems, and artificial intelligence concepts. Alongside academics, I actively apply my learning through hands-on projects in machine learning, backend development, and data-driven applications.
