The job respobilities are

• Modified and optimised 2D/3D thermal meshes and defined thermal network models in Hypermesh-NGT for GE gas turbine engine components.
• Set up and executed steady-state and transient thermal simulations, applying appropriate boundary conditions and incorporating geometry updates, with Flow Simulator coupling for integrated system behaviour.
• Modelled and calculated leakage flow paths in High Pressure Compressor and Turbine Centre frame thermal network models to ensure accurate heat transfer representation.
• Post-processed results using HyperView and validated thermal predictions through analytical/hand calculations and correlation with test or CFD data
