Production Assistant Manager / Shift In Charge - WELSPUN INDIA LTD. - Steel Division Anjar-Kutch plant, Integrated Pipe Unit (Ductile Iron Plant)

Working as a Assistant manager as well as Shift In charge, looking after all the Shift responsibilities and Shift Reports in Production Department. Working in Ductile Iron Pipe Plant, Hot Zone in CCM Department having 8 machines.

Handle

Manpower, make a production report, analysis of rejection, record of consumable items, production planning by PPC, Data entry in SAP system. IMS Auditor. Welspun is manufacturing industry of D.I. pipe, TMT Bars, Textile, Flooring, Line pipes, Pig iron, Stainless, Alloy Infrastructure & Werhousing. Capacity of Production DN80 to DN1200mm Size D.I.Pipe.

• After MRP Run by Planning Department issue materials from store as per priority given by planning department and allocate the work to different level of person
• Study and Understand SAP BOM, Drawings to take further actions – Circulate to concern persons of Production department with supporting actions
• Co-ordination with inter department Planning, Q.C, Design, Dispatch and Store for Completing Equipment as agreed upon time frame in ongoing projects
• Ensure required quality standard on daily basis through close supervision
• Managing Man / Machine power to achieve daily production target
• Daily review meeting with HOD for Work Order status & update
• Daily conduct short interval control (Kick off meeting) for Day to Day work allocation to the down line as per production tracker, work milestone plan & closely look after the same to complete the process within
• Daily co-ordination with dispatch department to achieve desire monthly dispatch plan
• Vendor visits for development orders and quality improvement
• Ability to taking decision on minor deviation
• Monthly production report submit to concern for ISO documentation
• Identify the potential of workman and develop them with guidelines and trainings
• Ensure PPE monitor in daily basis
• Given continuous training to work man for 5S, KPI, Workplace safety, PPE and Kaizen for Small improvement with innovative suggestion
• Continue involvement in Excellence activities like GEMBA WALK, RCA, small Suggestions
